Rick’s Weight Loss Journey

Rick is a father, husband, and journalist living in the Kitchener-Waterloo area of Ontario, Canada.

He has a deep love for his family, his country, volunteerism and writing.

He finds nothing is better than watching a great game of hockey (especially involving his sad-sack Toronto Maple Leafs), or hanging with his kids, who play a variety of sports, including the great sport of ringette.

You’ll quickly find that Rick is rather sarcastic and often brings a dry humour to readers. He’s also carries a very compassionate side - he was a social worker (working with the unemployed, homeless, and addicted folks of society) for 15 years before moving over to most recently trying his hand at sports journalism.
